Meet Dr. Chima Nwizu
Board certified in Family Medicine, Clinical Lipidology, and Obesity Medicine
Dr. Chima Nwizu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his practice, offering a comprehensive spectrum of care that spans adult medicine, weight loss medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, and in-office surgery.
After completing his medical education at the University of Benin in Nigeria, Dr. Nwizu pursued two years of surgical training at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City. His journey continued with a Family Medicine Residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, New York, and a Fellowship in Obstetrics at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California.
His passion lies in providing holistic care, from the prevention of cardiovascular risks to the coordination of patient care with other specialists. As a Clinical Lipidologist, he specializes in cholesterol medicine, significantly reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke for his patients.
